ATTENTION WORLD!Final round Mr.Money vs Mr.Denial
There was a time when things were simple, learning new things was easy, there was a time when companies took pride in their product, and things you would buy lasted a long time.Perhaps in parts of the world this is still true but in the USA our “Corporate American Way” has replaced much of what we take for granted. Like voting for a president or justice in a courtroom even our constitution has been amended to death. What am I talking about? I am talking about our individual ability to control our lives and keep that which we learn works working… I have nothing against Word Press or Twitter or any new Blog software but I don’t see how it can help me with what I want to do.
How is this blog going to help me upload MP3’s of my recorded music to this site? last time I tried I got a message that basically told me I had about one second of space for new music file uploads.
:How does blogging in general help me design and work with web pages so that they do what I need them to do… perhaps Word Press does this I wouldn’t know and I am afraid to learn it because a year from now it will be obsolete just as the FTP and HTML that i learned for maintaining my website have become useless obsolete web working tools.
I used to create my own pages, edit text, create links to music i was able to upload to folders, when something went wrong i could actually fix it. I was proud of my website I must have told everyone daily to go check it out. Now? This is my first visit to it in over a year… I am not impressed … it looks like crap …doesn’t do what it’s supposed to and most of all I really can’t do anything to it or with it …. I have no idea how to fix a link or even change the text.
Life was a battle for me back in the day , one that I fought with glorious pride achieving many notable victories, You would think with all this experience I would be an expert seasoned warrior but in reality I am far from it.
The old adage “nice guys finish last” really means ” honesty marks you as easy game for corporate predators” . The Standard proceedure for business people today is to “hook” their customers into a legal binding contract requiring them to pay fees which are blatantly way more than they were promised , give you cheap products and virtually no customer service… charge you up the ass for crap quality and service …AND monopolize the field so you have no choices …
When our forefathers wrote our constitution it was to prevent companies from doing exactly what they are doing today. Legally the amendments make this possible… Nixon resigned from office because he was caught in an impeachable act… Bush 2 (the sequel) committed over 20 impeachable acts and nothing happened. Clinton could have caught the terrorist that caused 911 but we wanted to know why some floozy gave him head. Bush 2 had a line of young girls waiting their turn …again we did nothing…. I mean what can we do?
Can’t upload songs anymore , can’t fix websites , internet has become a tool of deception and debauchery for companies to rip people off …. blatantly… with no regard for integrity and with no remorse. But you all have got the answer right here …. this is what’s going to make our lives livable again… let’s all talk about it in a forum …oh wait … so sorry forgot those are obsolete now … “Let’s go blogging” …. hope i said it correctly
